Director
TOMAS REHOREK
Bio
Tomáš was born in the small village in 1987. Always wanted to be a successful lawyer or doctor, but his parents saw him as a director.
He made his debut on the feature drama Changes (2009) as one of the youngest czech film directors, and won numerous awards at international film festivals. The following year Tomáš directed his second suggestive feature, yet another award-winning drama One Way Ticket (2010), followed by the crazy comedy Czech Made Man (2011) and the feature film satire Signal (2012).
His unconventional style of filmmaking brought him to the commercials, when Tomáš met the boys here at ARMADA. The collaboration puts Tomáš on the top shelf of directors in Czech republic and brings many award-winning campaigns for the Czech market (EFFIE, Nutcracker Awards, Pecka Ads Awards) for clients such as Krušovice, O2, ČSOB, Sazka, Sberbank, Orange, Vodafone or ČEZ.
Tomáš doesn’t stick to one genre. He likes a wide spectrum of creative challenges, from dramatic scripts through comedy, to the pure clean image and atmospheric concepts. Suggestive emotions and precise eclectic filmmaking characterises his work the most.
