Jiri Havelka (1980) is a theatre director and an actor. He directed several successful plays in the Dejvice Theatre, Ypsilon Theater, Na Zabradli Theatre, both the Czech and Slovak Theatres. In the latter he presented the play Elites.

His name is inherently connected with the VOSTO5 Theatre. In 2008, her received the prestisious Radok Award. As an author and director, he collaborated on several televisions series, and is one of the co-founders of the Ocko TV.

His film Owners (Vlastnici) had one of the highest attendances in the theatres and has collected 12 Czech Lions nominations - of which 3 have become the winners. Most importantly for the best screenplay by Jiri personally.
